From October 23 to November 1, 2025, Dr. Trinh Van Vinh, a lecturer in the Department of Political Theory, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a field trip for students enrolled in the course History of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City.
The War Remnants Museum is a place for researching, collecting, preserving, and exhibiting evidence and consequences of the wars in Vietnam. Through typical artifacts and documents reflecting the war crimes of U.S. imperialism, students are able to approach national history and the history of the Party in a direct and vivid manner. This experience helps strengthen patriotism and raise students’ awareness of the decisive role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the country’s development.
Under the guidance of Dr. Trinh Van Vinh, students actively toured and studied the exhibition spaces at the museum in order to complete their course reports. Direct exposure to artifacts and war remnants enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of the heroic history of the Vietnamese nation. The field trip was a great success and, above all, brought enthusiasm and interest to students in learning and studying the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
