During process of studying the course "University Study Methods," students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Van Hien University, had positive and inspiring learning experiences. Under the guidance of experienced and dedicated lecturers, students clearly saw the differences between learning methods at the high school and university levels, and the course content contributed to guiding students towards more effective self-study. This is an important course that helps students become familiar with the new learning environment, shape their self-learning mindset, and develop essential skills for their university journey.
During the lessons, the instructors shared various topics such as building effective study plans, approaches to and research of learning materials, note-taking skills, teamwork, and critical thinking. In addition, the instructors incorporated in-class activities such as discussions, presentations, group work, and individual assignments to help students confidently showcase their creative abilities and connect with new peers.
The University Study Methods course not only provides methods, skills, and knowledge but also inspires and helps students learn how to plan their studies and cultivate a more positive attitude towards learning. This is considered a crucial starting point for students' growth and development at Van Hien University.
